Job summary

Smith+Nephew is seeking a Trauma Associate Sales Representative in Pensacola, FL. You will support the Trauma sales team, gain hands-on operating room exposure, and develop technical expertise in trauma orthopaedics to grow into a high-performing medical device sales career.

The role involves travel within Pensacola territory, demo management, and building relationships with surgeons and OR staff. A bachelor experience and a drive for growth in medical device sales are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience or relevant clinical experience.
• Strong technical learning ability and interest in Trauma Orthopaedics.
• Ability to build relationships with surgeons and hospital personnel.
• Self motivated and results driven mindset with a desire to grow in medical device sales.
• Preferred background in orthopedics or clinical roles such as EMT, Paramedic, Surgical Tech, SPD, OR Aide, or Athletic Trainer.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Trauma Sales team across the Pensacola territory to drive revenue growth and achieve quota.
• Assisting with surgical case coverage, providing technical support in operating room environments.
• Setting up and managing demo inventory, product installations, and troubleshooting equipment.
• Delivering product education and in service training to surgeons and hospital staff.
• Transporting inventory between customer accounts to ensure product availability.
• Building foundational knowledge of Trauma Orthopaedics including internal and external fixation solutions.
• Developing strong relationships with surgeons, OR staff, and clinical teams.
• Participating in a 24 7 on call rotation with the wider team.
