Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing school/program – Required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing – Preferred.
• RN – State Licensure to work in TN. Upon Hire Required.
• BCLS – Basic Life Support – Upon Hire Required.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care according to medical regimen and standards.
• Initiates assessment based on presenting problems and diagnosis.
• Collects information from patient/family and medical reports; ensures consents and IDs.
• Determines nursing diagnoses and priorities; collaborates on discharge planning.
• Documents assessments and clinical judgments; maintains patient records.
• Performs therapeutic nursing interventions as ordered by the physician.
• Maintains patient safety and infection control; supports family education.
• Coordinates referrals and educates patients and family as needed.
