Job summary

Johnson & Johnson’s DePuy Synthes orthopaedics division is recruiting a Sales Associate for the Rochester, NY territory. You will support surgeons and hospital teams, drive adoption of the portfolio, and deliver clinical and economic value to healthcare systems.

You will work to enhance customer relationships and provide expert product knowledge in fast-paced operating room environments. The role requires travel, strong communication, and a customer-centric mindset, with the aim of expanding

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) with minimum years of professional experience or recently transitioned from active military duty.
Strong interpersonal communication, negotiation, influencing, strategic thinking, problem solving and business acumen are required.
Must have a valid US driver’s license and be able to travel, including weekends/overnights.

Responsibilities

Assist DePuy Synthes sales organization in retaining and supporting further penetration with existing customers and new customers.
Attend surgeries to support cases and ensure proper equipment is available.
Present, demonstrate and ensure proper utilization of DePuy Synthes products.
Prepare sales reports and maintain customer and account relationships within the territory.
