Job summary

You will collaborate with providers and the care team to ensure outstanding patient experiences and positive outcomes.

Key duties include assessing patients on admission and each shift, administering medications, documenting care, and educating patients and families about treatment plans and follow-up steps.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred
• < 1 year applicable experience
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting changes in patient status.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and document care in the medical record.
• Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests and proactively anticipating needs.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about condition, treatment plan, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures.
