WellLife Network is seeking a compassionate Child Support Professional for its Dix Hills Community Residence Program in Dix Hills, NY. The role provides therapeutic care, supervision, and family engagement to youth in residence, with a focus on trauma-informed practices and skill-building in daily living and independence.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate’s degree is preferred.
• Experience working with children with emotional or behavioral needs is preferred.
• A valid New York State driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized supervision and care for each resident, ensuring safety and well-being.
• Offer strength-based and trauma-informed approaches to support residents’ resilience.
• Help residents develop daily living skills and track progress in a therapeutic milieu.
• Participate in household routines including cleaning, meal planning, and organization with residents.
• Contribute to service planning and review of treatment plans with the team.
• Escort residents to appointments and activities, supporting safe transportation.
• Provide counseling support and assist with behavior management and crisis intervention.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and on time.
