Job summary

Covenant House Illinois is seeking a Supportive Services Clinical Manager to lead clinical case management and youth engagement across residential and drop-in programs in Chicago. The role guides staff in developing comprehensive service plans, tracking outcomes, and applying trauma-informed care principles to support youth experiencing homelessness.

You will supervise clinical teams, collaborate with program partners, and ensure high-quality care aligned with CHIL’s mission.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in a social service field required.
Licensed clinical social worker (LCSW/LCPC) license preferred.
3-5 years of related experience in social services.
1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
Experience building relationships with community partners and service providers.

Responsibilities

Provide weekly supervision of all direct reports and conduct performance appraisals.
Develop and oversee case management and youth engagement services across residential and drop-in programs.
Coordinate curriculum development and training for staff on trauma-informed care.
Monitor youth progress, ensure proper documentation, and track outcomes in HMIS/CES/ETO systems.
Collaborate with community partners to ensure coordinated care and resources.
Foster program development and quality improvement to support youth independence.
