Job summary

The Home for Little Wanderers in Walpole, MA is seeking Residential Counselors to support youth with trauma histories, developmental delays, and ASD. The role pays $20 per hour and requires CORI/background check, valid ID, and flexibility for evenings, holidays, and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1 year plus prior experience working with youth.
• HS diploma or equivalency.
• A passion for making a positive impact on the lives of kids.

Responsibilities

• Join a dynamic team implementing trauma informed care for youth.
• Support youth in developing skills to transition home to families.
• Teach life skills, coping skills, and social skills through counseling and modeling.
• Participate in groups and activities to enhance youth growth and development.
• Engage in on-site and off-site recreational/educational activities.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment.
