Job summary

Urban Peak seeks an Outreach Worker to connect with youth under 25, build trust, and guide them toward self-sufficiency. You will partner with shelters, police, and health services to coordinate resources and facilitate housing exits. A trauma-informed approach and strong communication are essential.

The role includes on-street outreach, data collection, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to support youth in Denver’s homeless communities.

Qualifications

• A master’s degree or bachelor’s with relevant experience as described.
• Experience in trauma-informed care and engagement with street youth.
• Ability to work with diverse, LGBTQ+ youth and high-need individuals.

Responsibilities

• Outreach to youth on the streets and at shelters to promote services.
• Provide case management, referrals, and programming to youth.
• Collaborate with partners and city agencies to engage encampments.
