Urban Peak Denver is seeking a Young Adult Life Skills Manager to supervise youth in shelter and housing programs, ensuring safety and providing trauma-informed, evidence-based services. You will support youth in building self-efficacy, reducing risky behavior, and navigating services with a compassionate, strength-based approach.

The role emphasizes crisis intervention, data collection, program documentation, and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Two years of college or a high school diploma with six years in human services.
• Ability to connect and work effectively with diverse, resistant youth.
• Knowledge of homelessness, mental health, and substance use issues.
• Trauma-informed approach to services and care.
• Must pass background checks and TB screening.

Responsibilities

• Documentation of admission records and services provided.
• Maintain accurate, ongoing client data and logs.
• Conduct intake assessments and referrals.
• Provide milieu supervision and safety for youth.
• Crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed.
• Manage or assist with group activities and case management.
