Thompson seeks a Youth Support Partner to engage and mentor youth, provide crisis intervention, and advocate for their wellbeing. You will work with families, DCBS staff, and a care team to improve placement stability and outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of adolescent support experience, a relevant degree, and a valid driver’s license. Mileage reimbursement is provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related field preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience with adolescents in supportive/therapeutic roles.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks.
• DCBS/DJJ/healthcare exposure preferred; strong communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; excellent written and oral communication.

Responsabilités

• Engage and mentor youth on caseload; build rapport and buy-in.
• Provide crisis support and intervention as needed.
• Collaborate with caregivers, DCBS staff, and youth team.
• Support placement stability and youth wellbeing.
