Job summary

Urban Peak Denver seeks a Young Adult Life Skills Manager to supervise youth at shelter and housing programs, delivering trauma-informed services and ensuring safety. You will document services, coordinate with staff, and conduct crisis intervention as needed.

Requirements include college coursework or HS diploma with substantial human services experience, QMAP eligibility, and proficiency with MS Office. Driving eligibility and background checks are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Two years of college or a HS diploma with 6+ years in human services or direct work with homeless/runaway youth.
• QMAP certification or eligible for QMAP certification.
• Ability to connect with diverse youth and work in trauma-informed care.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to pass background checks and TB/physical exams.
• Must be insurable to drive Urban Peak vehicles for youth program work.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision of youth, ensuring safety and a positive environment.
• Document admission records, services received and maintain data integrity.
• Crisis intervention/ de-escalation and case management as needed.
• Coordinate with staff; facilitate group activities and milieu supervision.
• Adhere to trauma-informed care principles across interactions and interventions.
