Job summary

Urban Peak Denver is seeking an Outreach Worker to connect with youth on the streets and build trust to guide them toward self-sufficiency. You will act as a liaison to inform youth and the community about Urban Peak services, promoting health and safety, and assisting with exit from street life.

The role requires trauma-informed care experience and the ability to collaborate with police, city health departments, shelters, and other partners to engage hard-to-reach youth while maintaining youth

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree with relevant experience in youth services.
• Experience in trauma-informed care and working with homeless or runaway youth is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse youth populations.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage youth on the streets and in shelters to connect them with services.
• Provide case management and referrals to help youth secure housing and stability.
• Document services and maintain HMIS records accurately.
