Job summary

Urban Peak is seeking a Minor Shelter Life Skills Manager to supervise youth (ages 12–17) in a trauma-informed environment and coordinate with the Shelter team. The role emphasizes safety, intake assessments, data collection, and collaboration with the Minor Shelter Case Manager to support youth toward program goals within 21 days of entry.

The position requires adherence to program policies, strong communication with families when applicable, and the ability to work with a diverse youth

Qualifications

• Two years of college or equivalent and six+ years in human services or homeless youth experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately document admissions and services provided.

Skills

Two years college

HS diploma + 6+ yrs exp

Experience with homeless youth

Bilingual communication (preferred)

Discretion and boundaries

Trauma-informed care

QMAP certified or eligible
