Job summary

Thompson seeks a Youth Care Specialist for its Nashville-area residential programs. You will supervise, support, and build therapeutic relationships with youth, while organizing activities and ensuring safety and daily routine.

A valid driver’s license, 1 year of related experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required. Starting pay is $18.50–$22.00 per hour, with full-time benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver’s License and meet credentialing, licensing and privileging standards as it pertains to the program.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; High School diploma required.
• At least 1 year of experience in residential youth or related child and family services.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Full-time employees work 1st or 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, support, guidance, and build a therapeutic relationship with the youth.
• Engage with youth, provide direction, structure and support for physical and psychological needs; manage activities and transport.
• Travel to residential facilities within the Nashville area as needed.
• Complete daily documentation per regulatory standards.
