Job summary

Real Escape From The Sex Trade (REST) seeks a Youth Intervention Advocate to provide trauma-informed advocacy, case management, and individualized support for youth at risk of or survivors of exploitation in the DC area.

You will maintain a capped caseload, complete intake and safety planning, coordinate with schools, healthcare providers, and youth-serving partners, and ensure coordinated access to housing, services, and legal resources while upholding fidelity to REST’s mission.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of direct-service experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field.
• Ability to carry a full caseload with follow-through.
• Strong judgment and boundaries with youth in crisis.
• Coordinate with schools, healthcare, child welfare, juvenile justice, and law enforcement.
• Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive services, faith-aligned.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a caseload of 15-20 youth and conduct intake and service planning.
• Advocate for youth with courts and referral sources.
• Build trusted relationships with youth using trauma-informed approaches.
• Coordinate referrals and ensure smooth processes with partners.
• Document and track engagement, services and outcomes.
