The Center for Youth Services is seeking a Youth Engagement Advocate to provide intensive case management and advocacy for youth facing exploitation. You will address immediate life and safety issues, coordinate services, and help reduce risks of ongoing sexual exploitation and abuse.

Responsibilities include crisis intervention, client counseling, and collaboration with youth-serving agencies to arrange shelter, safety supports, transportation, and referrals.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Service or related field with 2 years' crisis case management experience, or equivalent.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• A valid driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Crisis Intervention
• Case management & youth advocacy
• Individual counseling
• Community outreach to youth-serving agencies
• Maintain client confidentiality, consistent with center policies
• Referral readiness and referral services
• After-hours response, assessment and intake
• Engage youth to offer services and referrals
• Transportation of clients, when required and consistent with agency policies

Conocimientos

Excellent literacy and communication

Knowledge of community resources

Educación

Bachelor's Degree in Human Service or related field
