Job summary

REST seeks a Youth Intervention Advocate in Seattle to provide trauma‑informed advocacy and case management for youth affected by exploitation. You will partner with schools, healthcare, child welfare, and community groups, managing safety plans and coordinated services to improve safety and well‑being.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of direct-service experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to carry a full caseload with strong follow-through and documentation discipline.
• Strong judgment and boundaries when working with youth in crisis.
• Coordinate professionally with schools, healthcare, child welfare, and juvenile justice partners.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a caseload of 15-20 youth.
• Complete intake, needs assessments, and individualized service plans.
• Advocate for youth in court and with referrals from partners.
• Build trusting relationships with youth using trauma-informed approaches.
• Coordinate referrals to housing, healthcare, education, and other services.
• Document and track engagement, services, and outcomes.
