Job summary

Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services in Helena seeks a Training & Development Specialist to promote and deliver staff training and development programs. You will support performance improvement and implement trauma-informed practices across the Child and Family Services Division.

You will collaborate with leadership, present and facilitate trainings, and act as a subject matter expert on trauma‑informed care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in training, education, social work or related human service field.
• Two years of training and development experience including professional work experience in child and family service programs, protective services or social work.
• One year of adult learning and e-learning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with management to improve employee performance and enhance child welfare service delivery.
• Presents training or facilitates training by other training professionals.
• Serves as a subject matter expert on trauma-informed best practices in child welfare.
