Job summary

Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) seeks a Training & Development Specialist to support the Training & Development Supervisor and the Child and Family Services Division. The role focuses on promoting training initiatives to improve staff performance and service delivery for children and families.

The position involves presenting and facilitating trainings, developing curricula, and applying trauma-informed best practices in child welfare.

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Child and Family Services Division.

The Training and Development Specialist supports the Training & Development Supervisor and Child and Family Services Division in keeping children safe and families strong by promoting training and development for staff. Key responsibilities include: 1) Collaborates with management to improve employee performance and enhance child welfare service delivery; 2) Presents training or facilitates training by other training professionals; and 3) Serves as a subject matter expert on trauma-informed best practices in child welfare.
