Job summary

Little Flower Children and Family Services of New York is seeking a Professional Development and Training Coordinator for our Wading River RTC. The role supports workforce development, onboarding, and staff growth across the agency with a trauma-informed, youth-centered care approach.

The position offers a full-time, 35-hour-per-week hybrid schedule based in Wading River, NY, with travel to campus and other locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, human services, organizational development, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in training, facilitation, or workforce development, preferably in a child welfare or residential care setting.
• Certified TCI trainer preferred or will have ability to become certified upon hire.
• Experience in adult learning, coaching, and trauma-informed systems change.
• Excellent communication, organization, and instructional design skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee training, onboarding, and staff development initiatives.
• Collaborate with agency leaders and subject matter experts to deliver learning experiences.
• Track staff training compliance with OCFS and internal agency standards.
• Lead and coordinate TCI training and coordinate external facilitators.
• Maintain a centralized training calendar and documentation.
