Job summary

UC San Diego CAPS is seeking a licensed mental health professional to provide trauma-informed individual and group psychotherapy for undergraduate and graduate students within the TL Program.

The TL therapist works under supervision and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver crisis prevention, de-escalation, and bridge care as part of a comprehensive mental health service for a diverse student population.

Qualifications

• Licensed mental health professional with trauma-informed practice.
• Experience providing individual and group psychotherapy in a campus setting.
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse student populations and collaborate with campus partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed individual and group psychotherapy.
• Deliver crisis stabilization and de-escalation as part of TL program.
• Coordinate care and bridge to higher levels of care as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to support student wellness.
