San Diego State University, Imperial Valley campus, seeks a compassionate Clinical/Counseling Therapist to provide student-centered mental health care. You will deliver individual and group counseling, crisis response, and outreach to foster student well‑being and success.

The role partners with faculty, families, and campus partners to expand access to resources, reduce barriers to care, and develop prevention education across the campus community.

Formación

• Terminal degree in psychology or related field required.
• Current California licensure or eligibility to practice psychology/therapy in CA.
• Experience delivering diverse culturally informed counseling.
• Strong crisis intervention and case management abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Provide individual, group, couples, or family counseling to SDSU Imperial Valley students.
• Deliver crisis intervention, risk assessment, and referrals as needed.
• Develop prevention education, workshops, and wellness initiatives.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to connect students with resources.
• Participate in program development and campus community engagement.
