Zusammenfassung

UC San Diego Health Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) seeks a clinical case manager to deliver urgent mental health care and bridge services for students with high-acuity needs. The role involves trauma-informed care, safety planning, and collaboration with campus resources within a multidisciplinary team.

The position requires extensive experience, a Master's degree in mental health, and licensure in California.

Qualifikationen

Master's degree in area related mental health required.
Licensed in a Behavioral Health Counseling discipline; CA license in process acceptable.
Five (5) or more years of licensed relevant experience.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification by the start date.
Advanced counseling principles and trauma-informed care knowledge.
Experience with program development and educational outreach.

Aufgaben

Conduct needs assessments and determine appropriate treatment plans for students.
Provide crisis intervention, safety assessment and discharge planning.
Coordinate referrals with CAPS mental health referral system and campus resources.
Co-facilitate or substitute for Triton Lighthouse therapy groups as needed.
Maintain documentation and collaborate with stakeholders while upholding privacy laws.
