Job summary

Unbound Now seeks an Advocate to provide individualized crisis response and ongoing case management for survivors of human trafficking. The role emphasizes professional judgment, trauma-informed care, and adherence to program, state, and federal standards.

The Advocate works on-site in local offices, with travel within Texas as needed. 40–50 hours per week, includes evenings, weekends, and holidays; strong communication and collaboration with partners are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field.
• 2–3 years of case management/crisis intervention preferred.
• Trained in trauma-informed care.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Respond to calls from law enforcement and other referrals; arrive at location within required time.
• Meet immediate physical needs (clothes, food, toiletries).
• Provide ongoing field-based advocacy, case management, and emotional support.
• Coordinate referrals, service planning, and documentation for caseload.
• Conduct assessments, develop service plans, and make field decisions on client safety.
