Job summary

The Center seeks a Program Manager of Substance Use Services to oversee daily operations of the SUD program within a Trauma Informed Care framework. This role includes supervising staff, developing goals, and ensuring policy compliance under HHSC and TAC guidelines.

Applicants must hold LCDC and a Texas clinical license (LPC/LCSW/LMFT). Leadership experience and bilingual ability are preferred to support diverse client needs and staff development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or a closely related human services field is required.
• Two years of prior experience in a behavioral health field, including substance use disorder treatment, is required.
• Two years of leadership experience is required (supervisory, program management, team lead, or clinical supervision).
• Dual licensure: LCDC and a Texas clinical license (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT) is required.
• QMHP qualification and Texas licensure must be maintained in active status.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day SUD program operations, service delivery improvements, and monthly audits.
• Lead team meetings and provide monthly supervision; communicate program changes.
• Assist in hiring, onboarding, training, and evaluating SUD staff; evaluate performance as required.
• Ensure compliance with HHSC, TAC rules, SAMHSA, and Center documentation standards.
• Provide clinical back-up for assessments, counseling, and group therapy within licensure scope.
