Job summary

Partners Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a SUD Program Manager to oversee the outpatient substance use disorder (SUD) treatment program in Duluth. The SUD Program Manager / LADC plays an influential role in leadership, guidance and coaching to Counselors and Interns to ensure they meet agency standards and 12 core functions.

The role reports to the Treatment Director, supervises LADC/ADC-T Counselors, and requires an active LADC license, a bachelor’s degree or higher, and DHS/245G knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Active LADC License required.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field, or currently pursuing one.
• Obtain 12 hours of co-occurring MH training within 6 months of hire.
• 1–3 years supervisory experience in the field.
• If acting as LADC Supervisor: meet LADC qualifications.
• Three+ years’ experience providing individual and group counseling for SUD.
• Knowledge of Minnesota statutes 245G, 245A.65, 626.557, 626.5572, 260E.
• Must be free of substance use problems for at least 2 years prior to hire.
• Ability to complete MN DHS background study.

Responsibilities

• Oversee LADC/ADC-T Counselors and Interns in outpatient SUD program.
• Audit counselor documentation per 245G and PBH policies.
• Provide weekly supervision and coaching to staff.
• Ensure staffing levels and schedules; allocate indirect service hours.
• Maintain client records, initial service plans, assessments, and treatment plans.
• Deliver direct services as needed and manage caseloads.
