Job summary

Downtown Women’s Center seeks a full-time, licensed Clinical Program Manager (LCSW/LMFT) to guide the strategic planning and enhancement of clinical programs. The role oversees unlicensed clinicians, interns, and the Trauma Recovery Center, modeling crisis intervention and delivering supervision and clinical training across departments.

Qualifications

• LCSW or LMFT in good standing with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences is required.
• 2 years of post-licensure experience and completion of 15-hour Clinical Supervision training required.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Program, contract and budget management experience is required.
• Experience working with homeless adults and knowledge of community resources is required.
• Crisis intervention/de-escalation experience and familiarity with trauma-informed care are required.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices (Trauma-Informed Care, Seeking Safety, CBT, DBT, Harm Reduction, Motivational Interviewing) is required.
• Experience using data collection tools to track program progress is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day functions of the Trauma Recovery Center and ensure budget and grant compliance.
• Provide clinical guidance and supervision to clinicians across DWC programs.
• Develop and coach a multi-disciplinary team delivering trauma-informed services to clients experiencing homelessness and related challenges.
• Assist staff with crisis intervention and de-escalation per internal protocols and mandated reporting.
• Maintain licensure with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
• Provide weekly individual supervision to direct reports and supervise a part-time psychiatrist.
• Ensure onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development for staff.
• Develop and coordinate case management and mental health policies to meet organizational goals.
• Foster relationships with MSW programs and oversee Clinical Internship for students.
• Facilitate internal audits and quality assurance for Clinical Programs with the Clinical Director.
