VOA Northern California & Northern Nevada, Inc. in Sacramento is seeking full-time Swing Shift Support Staff for the Meadowview Navigation Center. The role delivers compassionate, professional service to women experiencing homelessness and ensures safety and smooth daily operations.

The schedule is 2:00pm to 10:30pm, Wednesday through Sunday, with a comprehensive benefits package. As a dedicated team member, you will engage guests, coordinate meals and housing logistics, and support case

Qualifications

• This role requires clear oral and written instruction comprehension and ability to serve diverse guests.
• Familiarity with homelessness issues, trauma-informed care preferred.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours; ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality service to program guests with compassion and professionalism.
• Engage with guests, assess needs, and support program objectives.
• Maintain daily logs, incident reports, and adherence to policies.
• Ensure building safety, security checks, and weapon detection procedures.
• Coordinate meal service, room assignments, and housekeeping tasks.
• Respond to medical emergencies and de-escalate conflicts as needed.
• Support emergency response and document actions during incidents.
