Volunteers of America Northern California & Northern Nevada, Inc. is recruiting for a Swing Shift Support Staff position (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Wednesday through Sunday) at Our Place shelter.

This full-time role supports women, families, and individuals experiencing homelessness on a 20-acre campus, with a focus on safety, cleanliness, and participant services. The position requires CPR and First Aid within 90 days, plus a criminal background check.

Qualifications

• Requires CPR and First Aid training within 90 days of employment.
• Criminal background check is required for employment.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours and ability to function as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Explain program rules and residents observance of rules.
• Coordinate meal prep/service and daily routines.
• Provide awake shift coverage and maintain grounds presence.
• Conduct wellness, safety and sanitation checks.
• Maintain daily reports and documentation.
