Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months experience in health or human service-related fields preferred, preferably with unhoused individuals.
• Demonstrated verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Individuals with lived expertise are encouraged to apply.
• Basic proficiency in Windows, Word, and Google Email and Apps.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for guests and maintain safety through visual monitoring and trauma-informed interactions.
• Conduct scheduled safety checks of common areas and surrounding spaces.
• Facilitate a respectful and safe check-in process.
• Complete intake documentation and HMIS/incident reporting as required.
• Follow safety plans and report concerns to supervisor.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation; contact 911 when needed.
• Maintain guest confidentiality.
• Attend required meetings and trainings.
• Other duties as assigned.
