Job summary

YWCA Dayton is seeking an energetic, dedicated professional for the Shelter Services Manager role. This exempt, salaried position works 40+ hours weekly with occasional evenings and weekends.

You will supervise Shelter Navigators and coordinate resident support while ensuring trauma-informed, equity-focused services. You will oversee Coordinated Entry and HMIS documentation, support audits, and build partnerships to promote housing stability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, Human Services, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Sociology, or related field required.
• Minimum three years of relevant human services experience and one year of supervisory experience.
• HMIS and Coordinated Entry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day shelter operations and ensure policy implementation with trauma-informed practices.
• Directly supervise Shelter Navigators, provide coaching, evaluations, and scheduling.
