Job summary

Rural Resources in Washington seeks a Navigator of Services to be the first contact for participants and guests. You will guide individuals across programs, coordinate essential services, and maintain confidentiality while working independently and with partners.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed communication, crisis intervention, and building trusted relationships with participants and service providers to connect people with needed resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area of study or equivalent experience.
• Two years experience working for a social services agency or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and welcome guests in person or by phone.
• Complete initial interview to assess eligibility and need for services.
• Provide trauma-informed crisis intervention and support.
• Remain current on agency and community resources.
• Make referrals to other agencies and services.
• Maintain confidential client information in the agency database.
• Collaborate with social service agencies and community partners.
