Job summary

Mental Health Cooperative in Tennessee is seeking a Behavioral Health Liaison for School Based programs in Montgomery County. You will support schools with trauma-informed practices, train staff, and provide interventions to students to build coping and de-escalation skills while strengthening school–family partnerships. The role runs 8:00 a.m.

to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (10-month schedule aligned with the school year).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social or behavioral science or related field.
• 1–3 years' experience or training in social services.
• Experience with children/youth and families with behavioral health needs.
• Ability to provide strengths-based, client-centered service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed practices training and education to school personnel.
• Deliver individual and/or group interventions and psychoeducation to students.
• Foster positive relationships between schools and families.
• Help teachers create trauma-informed classroom environments.
• Support school staff in promoting positive classroom engagement and educational achievement.
• Participate in state-approved trauma-informed trainings and apply learnings.
