Northern Children’s Services in Philadelphia seeks a Resource Parent Support Worker to help ensure the safety, stability, and well-being of children in care. You will work directly with resource families, provide in-home support, and collaborate with the CUA and DHS staff to coordinate services.

This full-time role requires a bachelor’s degree and experience in child welfare, along with strong communication and the ability to develop individualized support plans, monitor progress, and maintain

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 3 years’ experience in Child Welfare or Juvenile Justice desirable.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, in-home support to resource caregivers.
• Coordinate with CUA, DHS, and other service providers.
• Develop and implement Resource Parent Support Plans for each child.
• Maintain case documentation and ensure compliance with regulations.
