Job summary

Northern Children’s Services seeks a Resource Parent Support Worker to help families thrive. Under the Foster Care Director, you provide in-home and community supports to resource caregivers and children, focusing on safety, permanency, and well-being.

You coordinate with CUA and DHS, maintain documentation, attend meetings, and help caregivers access services, education, medical care, and transportation. This role requires strong communication, trauma-informed practice, and a bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3 years’ experience in Child Welfare or Juvenile Justice Fields.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, in-home support to resource caregivers to promote child well-being and safety.
• Assist with planning, monitoring, and documentation to support permanency and stability.
• Coordinate with CUA, DHS, school staff, and medical/dental providers to secure services.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field
