Job summary

Northern Children’s Services is hiring a part-time Residential Support Aide in Philadelphia to provide trauma-informed support to residents and their children. You will help maintain a welcoming, safe environment, plan activities, and assist with transportation and daily needs during various shifts.

Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma or GED, 21+ years old, and experience with adolescents in child welfare or behavioral health settings.

Qualifications

• Education: high-school diploma or GED required; associate degree or higher a plus.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Experience with adolescents in child welfare/behavioral health settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise residents and ensure residents have adequate meals and activities.
• Transport residents to appointments and assist with supplies and shopping as needed.
• Follow medication administration policies and document accurately.
• Complete daily documentation and end-of-shift reports; communicate with staff about appointments and needs.
• Monitor residents' participation and maintain a safe, welcoming environment.
