Job summary

Her Song is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our residential team in Clifton Park, NY. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday from 1pm to 9pm, providing trauma-informed, victim-centered direct services to survivors of human trafficking in a safe house setting.

You will help with daily schedules, appointments, life-skills activities, documentation, and crisis response while maintaining client confidentiality and teamwork with a multi-disciplinary staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year related experience; trauma-responsive approach
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Proficient computer skills and ability to document in software systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Foster a healthy, safe community living environment
• Assist clients in managing a busy daily program schedule
• Address and respond to individual client needs and appointments
• Help clients manage service provider, legal, and healthcare visits
• Complete administrative tasks related to documentation and scheduling
• Maintain safety and security of the house and respond to emergencies
• Support residents with daily routines and life-skills activities
