Job summary

Stevens Treatment Programs is seeking a Residential Counselor to provide steady, reliable support for youth in a trauma-informed residential setting. You will mentor adolescents, collaborate with clinicians and educators, and implement individualized treatment plans in daily routines and activities.

The role emphasizes building trust, coping skills, and resilience, with opportunities to work on crisis response and ongoing youth development in a structured team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
• Successful background check (EEC).
• Experience with adolescents or special populations preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build supportive, consistent relationships with youth.
• Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment.
• Partner with clinical and education teams to support treatment goals.
• Coach youth in coping skills, emotional regulation, and daily living skills.
• Respond calmly and effectively during moments of crisis.
