Job summary

YWCA-Northeast-Indiana-Inc is seeking a Residential Children’s Case Manager to provide trauma-informed services to children and families in shelter. You will support safety, stability, and well-being during the shelter stay and work with residential programs to address needs across generations.

This full-time role requires intake assessments, goal planning, and coordination with schools and community resources, while maintaining confidential records and reporting outcomes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles applied to children and families.
• Experience with intake assessments and service planning.
• Ability to use a Two-Generation (2Gen) approach.
• Understand confidentiality and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete children’s intake and initial needs assessments.
• Provide trauma-informed case management to children and youth in shelter.
• Develop and monitor individualized goals and service needs.
• Coordinate with schools, health providers, and community resources.
• Maintain accurate, confidential case documentation and reporting.
