YWCA USA is seeking a Residential Children’s Case Manager to provide trauma-informed and trauma-responsive services to children and families in shelter settings. You will support safety, stability, and well-being during the shelter stay.

Work is full-time, with Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–3 p.m. hours, and requires collaboration with schools, health providers, and community partners to connect families with needed resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Social Work, Human Services, or related field.
• CPR and First Aid Certifications within the first year of employment.

Responsabilités

• Complete children’s intake and initial needs assessments for children and youth entering residential programs.
• Provide case management using a Two-Generation (2Gen) approach to support family well-being.
• Provide trauma-informed case management to children and youth impacted by domestic violence, family instability, and/or parental substance use and recovery.
• Develop and monitor individualized goals and service needs for children and youth.
• Observe parent-child interactions and provide support around parenting and daily living skills.
• Connect families with community resources and educational supports.
• Assist with school enrollment and transportation needs.
• Plan and facilitate children’s activities and field trips.
• Support family bonding and social-emotional development.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and program outcomes.
• Collaborate with Residential Services, Advocacy, Recovery, and community partners.
