Job summary

Ozark Center is seeking a Residential Psych Tech to support children in a cottage-based treatment program. You will assist with day-to-day care, supervision, and help implement individualized treatment plans under the Cottage Supervisor.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed, empathetic care within a team, with duties including observation notes, routine supervision, and participation in daily briefings. Education: high school diploma required; preferred experience with youth in group settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Charts all pertinent observations on a continuing basis regarding residents.
• Supervises and assists residents in wake-up, meals, recreation, counseling, education/vocation needs, daily routine and hygiene, house rules and sleep.
• Participates in Team Meetings, shift information exchanges, daily cottage briefings and has input in the evaluation and treatment plan progress of each resident.
• Provides direct behavior observations and reinforcement of appropriate behaviors as prescribed by the cottage based treatment team.
