Job summary

Freeman Health System is seeking a Residential Psych Tech to join the cottage-based treatment team, providing day-to-day care and supervision for children and residents. You will assist in implementing individualized treatment plans, observe resident progress, and reinforce positive behaviors within a trauma-informed, supportive environment.

The role may require overtime and shift changes and involves working closely with staff to ensure safety and adherence to program rules.

Qualifications

• Experience in group care or professional setting with youth and children.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Charts all pertinent observations of residents and records progress.
• Performs duties including wake-up, meals, recreation, counseling, education/vocation needs, daily routine, hygiene, and adherence to house rules.
• Works as a team member with staff to implement program plans and provide behavior observations and reinforcement.
• Participates in team meetings, daily briefings, and contributes to treatment plan progress.
