Ozark Center in Missouri seeks a Residential Psych Tech (RPT) to join our cottage-based treatment team, providing day-to-day care and supervision of children/residents and supporting individualized treatment plans.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, a warm, empathic approach, and collaboration with staff to implement program plans while maintaining safety and dignity for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in group care or with youth and children preferred.

Responsabilités

• Charts all pertinent observations on residents.
• Supervises and assists residents in wake-up, meals, recreation, counseling, education/vocation needs, daily routine and hygiene.
• Works as a team with cottage staff to implement program plans.
• Provides direct behavior observations and reinforcement of appropriate behaviors as prescribed by the cottage team.
• Participates in Team Meetings, shift briefings, and contributes to evaluation and treatment progress.
