Qualifications

• Minimum education of high school diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver License and reliable transportation.
• Previous experience in healthcare field.
• Experience with providing direct care to individuals with disabilities.
• Ability to accept constructive feedback.
• Ability to pass background checks as required by regulatory agencies
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently and demonstrate patience and empathy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision to Eisenhower residents including transporting to appointments, assisting with ADLs, redirecting negative behaviors, and maintaining a safe environment.
• Assist individuals with disabilities in acquiring, retaining, and improving skills to enhance quality of life.
• Promote independence, inclusion and community engagement.
• Develop and enhance skills for daily living, social interaction and vocational pursuits.
• Carry out intervention plans and strategies directed by clinical staff (behavioral, speech, clinical case management, counseling, OT and PT).
