Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Driver License and reliable transportation
• Previous experience in healthcare field
• Experience with providing direct care to individuals with disabilities
• Ability to accept constructive feedback
• Ability to pass background checks as required by regulatory agencies
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently and demonstrate patience and empathy
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision to Eisenhower residents including transporting to appointments and assisting with ADLs
• Redirect negative behaviors and maintain a safe environment for residents
• Promote independence, inclusion, and community engagement
• Develop and enhance skills for daily living, social interaction, and vocational pursuits
• Carry out intervention plans and strategies directed by clinical staff
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation and progress notes
