Job summary

Dentonmhmr is seeking an entry-level Consumer Service Representative Phone Operator to greet callers, respond to inquiries, and provide friendly, professional service in a fast-paced clinic environment.

You will perform data entry, assist with routine clerical tasks, and help route calls to the appropriate staff while upholding HIPAA and confidentiality standards. Training completes within 30 days, with strong emphasis on customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
• Background checks per Texas HHSC and TAC requirements.
• Must be able to obtain Texas driver's license if out-of-state license held.

Responsibilities

• Handle large volumes of inbound/outbound calls in a fast-paced clinic setting.
• Perform data entry and verify contact information in electronic systems.
• Assist clients via telephone and route calls to appropriate staff.
• Identify client needs, provide solutions, and direct to services.
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments; navigate EHR to find info.
• Inform clients of balances due and process payments by phone.
• Document conversations in the electronic health record.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality; follow center policies.
• Participate in Zero Suicide initiative and crisis response where applicable.
