Job summary

Cascadia Health is seeking a Peer Provider for David’s Harp, a mental health day treatment program in NE Portland, OR. The role supports treatment within an interdisciplinary team, emphasizing trauma-informed care and client-centered wellness goals. The position runs 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.

to 4:30 p.m. You will lead health promotion groups, provide one-on-one support, document services, and participate in supervision.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a Peer Support training approved by the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) or Peer Wellness training.
• THW certification required to stay current and in compliance with OARs.
• Experience as a current or former user of behavioral health services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify as a person with lived experience and model recovery.
• Provide therapeutic interventions aligned with treatment plans.
• Lead individual and group health skills sessions.
• Maintain electronic health records and documentation.
• Participate in supervision, meetings, and case conferences.
• Support trauma-informed care and crisis response without restraints.
• Help clients navigate community resources including housing and transit.
• Promote equity, diversity and inclusion in care.
