Job summary

REST located in Seattle seeks an Outreach Support Specialist to expand access to services for survivors of commercial sexual exploitation through proactive, relationship-based outreach. You will focus on the Aurora/North Seattle corridor and South Seattle, building connections with individuals and partners while responding to survivor needs with safety and dignity.

Using trauma-informed, survivor-centered approaches, you will provide immediate support, resources, navigation, and referrals,

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience providing street outreach, community-based services, advocacy, harm reduction, crisis support, or other direct services to individuals facing stability barriers.
• Ability to build trust with individuals in nontraditional, community and street-based environments.
• Ability to recognize safety concerns and respond to high-risk situations appropriately.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a consistent, visible field presence along identified corridors and priority areas.
• Conduct scheduled outreach using trauma-informed, person-centered and harm-reduction approaches.
• Provide immediate basic needs and harm-reduction resources, safety planning, navigation and referrals.
• Develop relationships with community partners to strengthen referrals and identify service gaps.
• Coordinate with the Outreach Supervisor and Crisis Team for safety and crisis interventions.
• Document outreach contacts and referrals, and follow up to support service connections.
