SafeSpace, Inc. in Fort Pierce, FL, seeks an Outreach Program Assistant to provide trauma-informed direct services to survivors, crisis hotline callers and community members.

You will assist with intakes, safety planning, advocacy, referrals and coordination of case management in a multi-location outreach setting. This full-time, non-exempt role requires flexibility for evenings/weekends, a valid driver's license, and ability to work across tri-county sites.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required with relevant prior experience in crisis support or related fields.
• Experience providing supportive services, referrals and information to vulnerable populations is preferred.
• Ability to engage survivors with empathy and maintain confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Respond to crisis hotline calls or referrals within 48 hours to offer outreach services and crisis intervention.
• Complete outreach intake for survivors seeking services and enter data into the client management system.
• Provide safety planning, risk assessment, counseling, information and referrals.
• Maintain participant information in the agency database per standards.
• Assist with scheduling, coordination and transportation needs as required.
• Participate in training, meetings, and staff development as directed.
