Family Service of Rhode Island is seeking staff to provide guidance, support, and supervision to adolescents in a school and residential setting at South County Academy in Exeter, RI. The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, TST-based treatment, and collaboration with teachers, clinicians, and families.

Applicants should have a 4-year degree, at least one year with adolescents in related settings, and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience in youth services.
• Minimum of one year working with adolescents in a residential/therapeutic setting.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation with at least three seats.
• Bilingual/ASL or multilingual skills receive additional pay.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, hands-on support to youth in school and residential settings.
• Promote a positive role model and engage students in activities.
• Facilitate trauma-informed programming and TST training.
• Transport students to appointments and activities as required.
• Maintain documentation and use Credible EMR for records.
